    Taco Hotlink Plus-e hot H2O circulator

    I installed this pump and valve in about 2 hours. Our master bath was the farthest from the hot water heater so that is where the valve was placed. Prior to installation it would take about 90 seconds for hot water to reach our faucet. It now takes about 5 seconds. We do not use the sensor mode feature because we do not have a consistent schedule, so the pump runs every 15 minutes. This is a good compromise for getting hot water without the need of a dedicated return line.

    The system works beautifully yet the threads on the sensor valve are "mush" and are easily cross threaded . I had to get a 2" NP die and chase the threads on the one that became cross-threaded. It would be beneficial for Taco to alert as to this weakness.
